Description
The Van Silk Knit Tie is made in Como, Italy using locally sourced silk yarn and a circular knitting process that gives the tie its texture and structure. Each piece is produced on a mix of vintage mechanical and modern electronic knitting machines, allowing for subtle variation in stitch and pattern.
The knitted tube is formed from a continuous thread, then closed, steamed to shape, and hand sewn to achieve the final proportions. The result is a tie with a soft hand, natural elasticity, and a slightly textured surface that wears easily across both tailored and casual settings.
